Pumpkin Festival 2025

Saturday 25th October, 10am - 4pm

Join us on Saturday 25th October, 10am – 4pm when our annual Pumpkin Festival will be back, marking the end of harvest and celebrating local folklore traditions.

The day of family-friendly activities includes:

  • Pumpkin-themed games

  • Pumpkin carving

  • Creative workshops with Wild Joy including seasonal head dresses, witchy wands and mask painting

  • Crafts with Jenna Doodles

  • Corn dolly workshops with The Lost Giants

  • Folklore song circle with Sing-a-ling

  • Live music by Ninotchka

  • Food cooked over fire, seasonal sweet treats and spiced drinks by Roth Bar

  • Farm Shop mulled cider bar

  • Corn Queen and Somerset Gurt Worm folklore procession with The Lost Giants through Oudolf Field

This event is free, with no advance booking required. Food and drink will be available to purchase throughout the day.

Alongside the Pumpkin Festival, visit the Oudolf Field and Education Lab: ‘Our Imaginary World’ from 10 am and explore the exhibition, ‘Niki de Saint Phalle & Jean Tinguely. Myths & Machines’ from 12 pm.

Roth Bar will be open for coffee and brunch from 9 am, with Da Costa serving lunch from 12 pm. Somerset DJ duo Sinead Hanlon and Anna Murray will return for their monthly Solscisters Residency, bringing their eclectic sound to Roth Bar from 6 – 11 pm.
