DJ Sessions

Wednesdays, 6pm - 10pm

Make the most of the summer’s long evenings with our relaxed Wednesday night DJ sessions at Roth Bar. Gather your friends and family for sundowners with chilled mixes in the background curated by local DJs selected by Ross Wilson.

Grab a seat by the bar or in our courtyard garden and choose from our extensive drinks list, featuring signature cocktails, local beers (including 0% 1936 Swiss Larger) and ciders, wine from our vineyard and spirits.

Graze on bar snacks (until 10pm) or settle in for the evening with local favourites such as the Roth Bar smash burger and broad bean falafel from our full bar menu (12pm – 9pm). The perfect way to perk up your Wednesday and celebrate a Saturday night.

Every Wednesday, 6pm – 10pm.

Ross Wilson

Ross Wilson is a professional club/event DJ and music consultant, currently residing in Somerset, UK.

Having worked as a full-time DJ for over two decades, Ross has a depth of experience to create the right vibe for any occasion, from the liveliest dance floors to the subtle soundtracking of a gallery launch.

Ross Wilson was the founder of ‘Karanga’, one of England’s largest club nights throughout the ’90s-’00s, attracting a nationwide following and named one of the Top Ten nights in the UK by both ‘Mixmag’ magazine and Pete Tong’s ‘Essential Selection’ on BBC Radio One. After the peak era of the Superclub came to a natural decline, Ross retired Karanga and started his own DJ residencies with some of Bath and Bristol’s most successful weekly club nights of the ‘00s-‘10s including ‘Filth’, ‘LIT’, ‘Scandal’ and ‘LUXX’.

As a DJ he’s entertained crowds everywhere from sold-out clubs to fashion shows, and outdoor festivals to private celebrity parties. Ross currently holds a residency as ‘House DJ’ for the Soho House Group, where he regularly plays across a selection of their private members clubs and special events.

Growing up immersed in a multitude of counterculture movements like Acid House, HipHop, Britpop, Reggae, Superclubs, Indie and TripHop, Ross has a wide and eclectic music taste that can be adapted to any given scenario.
